Dime Bank Awards Over $6,000 To Haitian Relief Fund

Norwich, CT - Dime Bank, its customers and employees collectively
raised $6,041 in support of the Red Cross efforts for Haitian earthquake
relief. On January 12th, a series of earthquakes with magnitudes ranging
from 6.5 to 7.3 devastated Haiti. The Red Cross reports that the Haitian
earthquake operation has involved more emergency response teams than any
other single-country disaster in global Red Cross history.
Dime is proud to support the American Red Cross and its partners in the
global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross
to assist those affected by this disaster. The American Red Cross to date
has spent or allocated $80 million to meet the most urgent needs of earthquake
survivors in Haiti.
You can help the victims of countless crises, like the recent earthquake
in Haiti, around the world each year by making a financial gift to the
American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate
relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and
other support to help those in need. If you wish to designate your donation
